Deciduous tree growing 20′-30′ tall and spreading 30′-40′. New foliage is a bright lime green maturing to a bright deep green. In spring fragrant cream colored blooms emerge making a stunning display. Fruit is pear shaped and eventually split to reveal the shiny brown seeds. If tree does not get enough water by July it will drop it’s leaves. Otherwise if given moderate water it will hold them until autumn. Prefers partial sun to full sun in cooler climates moderate water.
