Fast-growing herbaceous perennial to 1.5-2′ tall x 2-3’ wide. Achillea has long been a popular garden favorite, prized for its lacy foliage and free-blooming nature. This vigorous variety forms a billowing mound of finely-divided, gray-tinged foliage accented with abundant, flat-topped, yellow-centered bright-red flowers that rise above the attractive foliage late-spring through summer. A favorite for butterflies and nectar-seeking birds. Removing old flowers as they expire will help promote re-blooming and maintain a more compact growing form. This easy to grow selection is well-suited in beds and borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens or as a colorful mass planting. Also performs well in containers, and the cut flowers are great for fresh or dried flower arrangements. Requires moderate to little water once established, prefers a well-drained soil, and thrives in a full sun exposure. Deer resistant.
