Category:

Moderate-growing herbaceous perennial to 2-3’ tall and 2′ wide. This popular, floriferous variety forms a bushy, rounded mound of deep-green foliage cloaked with an abundance of daisy-like, light lavender-blue flowers that appear early-summer to late-fall, or nearly year-round in mild climates. A favorite for butterflies. Removing old blooms as they expire with help promote re-blooming. Well suited in beds and borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, or as a colorful container specimen. Also looks great as a mass planting. A well-drained soil is essential for this species to prosper, as wet, boggy soils will tend to produce weak plants. Prefers regular watering and thrives in a full to partial sun exposure. Rabbit resistant.
