Category:

Moderate-growing tropical evergreen shrub with a mounding growth habit to 3-4′ tall and wide. This attractive species features soft, chartreuse-colored foliage accented with large, showy, drooping, shrimp-like coppery-pink to salmon-colored flowers that make a colorful impact from spring through summer, with intermittent bloom throughout the year in mild climates. Great as an accent, in mixed shrub borders, or as an attractive container specimen, and can also be grown indoors if good light is provided. Thrives with regular watering in a rich, well-drained soil with a full sun exposure in coastal climates, and a partial sun to light shade exposure elsewhere. Evergreen in mild climates.
USDA Zone: 9-11
