Moderate-growing evergreen shrub with an upright growth-habit typically to 6-8’ tall and wide or larger with age. Can be pruned to maintain a smaller size, or trained as an espalier or small patio tree. This popular mid-to-late season blooming variety features lustrous, glossy deep-green foliage accented with spectacular, large, semi-double light-pink flowers appearing in winter and spring. Well-suited as an accent, foundation planting or hedge, as well as making a fine container specimen. A popular choice for woodland or Asian themed gardens. Thrives with regular watering in a rich, acidic, well-drained soil and prefers a filtered-sun to light-shade exposure.
