Fast-growing evergreen perennial to 4-6” tall x 24” wide. This floriferous species forms a dense mat of small medium-green leaves with heavily serrated margins, and is admired for its profuse display of dainty, bell-shaped violet-blue flowers that heavily cloak the attractive foliage from late-spring to fall. Ideal for flowing over walls or creeping between rocks or stepping stones, and is a popular groundcover choice for rock or cottage garden settings. Requires regular watering in a fairly well-drained soil, and thrives in a full to partial coastal sun exposure, and a partial sun to partial shade exposure elsewhere.
