Fast-growing herbaceous perennial to 3’ tall x 16-20” wide. Canna has long been a garden favorite revered for its fast-growing, lush, tropical foliage and magnificent display of vibrant summer color. This attractive variety features large, grayish-green leaves accented with tall spikes of fiery-red flowers that rise above the attractive foliage throughout the heat of summer. Remove expired blooms to encourage re-blooming. Great as an accent in beds, borders and patio areas, and makes an eye-catching mass planting. Also performs well in containers, and can be partially submerged in aquatic gardens. This species clumps from underground rhizomes and can easily be divided to create new plantings. Tolerates a wide variety of well-drained soil types, and prefers moderate to light watering in a full to partial sun exposure.
