Moderately-slow growing, clumping, grass-like evergreen perennial to 12″ tall x 18-24” wide. This attractive species forms a rounded-mound of narrow, gracefully arching medium-green foliage that is ideal for using as a texture contrast to broadleaf shrubs and perennials. Well-suited for hillsides, banks, mixed shrub borders, as a mass planting, or as an attractive edging. Inconspicuous tan colored flowers appear in late-spring. Tolerates a wide variety of soil types, but thrives in a rich, evenly-moist soil in a partial sun to light-shade exposure. Prune down to 3-4” in fall to help maintain a vigorous growing specimen. Non invasive species.
