Cassia artemisioides (sometime known as senna artemisioides or Feathery Cassia) is an evergreen shrub with gray needlelike leaflets and fragrant yellow flowers blooming from winter to summer. Spring fertilization is recommended for best blooming. The best growth and flowering results are achieved in full sun. It is a low maintenance plant that requires light pruning after flowering. Cassia artemisioides is considered to be drought heat and desert tolerant once it is established.
