This evergreen shrub commonly grows two or three feet tall and up to ten feet wide. It presents a mounding large growth of glossy green foliage with blue flowers in Mar-May. It does best near coastal areas is good in coastal valleys and just OK inland if it gets afternoon shade. It is very useful for stabilizing large banks.
