Fast-growing tropical evergreen vine with stems to 15-20’ long if supported. Takes well to shearing and can be pruned to maintain a desired size. Best-suited for milder climates, this vigorous Australian native features mounding, glossy, lush-looking, medium to deep-green serrated leaves growing on rambling stems that attach themselves to supporting surfaces via clinging tendrils. New growth emerges with an attractive copper-colored tinge. Well-suited for fences, trellises or arbors, or left to ramble along slopes or hillsides as a dense-growing groundcover. Thrives with regular watering in a well-drained soil, and prefers a partial sun to partial shade exposure. Requires some protection from hot afternoon sun in warmer climates.
