Spreading Cotoneaster dammeri ‘Lowfast’ is sometimes called (Bearberry Cotoneaster). It is an evergreen groundcover shrub that grows 1 ft. tall and spreads to as much as 10 feet with trailing stems which root as they touch the ground. The white flowers in spring are followed by bright red berries. Plant in full sun to part shade. Cotoneaster dammeri ‘Lowfast’ is considered drought tolerant and hardy to -10 to -20 degrees F (USDA Zone 5).
