Dianthus caryophyllus ‘Cinnamon Red Hots’ produce brilliant red flowers clustered atop short stems. They have a delightful fragrance. ‘Cinnamon Red Hots’ are ideal for small planters such as window boxes as they only grow to a height of 14-16″ tall by 12-14″ wide. They grow best in full sun to part shade. Dianthus needs a sunny site with well-drained soil but will tolerate some shade in the afternoon. These fragrant flowers look wonderful as a border plant in rock gardens along walks or paths and for edging.
