Euonymus japonicus ‘Microphyllus’ (Little Leaf Japanese Euonymus) is a dwarf evergreen euonymus shrub that reaches 1 to 2 ft. tall. It is usually trimmed into a low hedge. It is attractive with glossy dark green oval shaped leaves. Greenish white flowers are sometimes followed by rounded pink fruits with orange seeds. Boxleaf Euonymus is useful for backgrounds borders and is tolerant of many climates and soils. It requires occasional to regular irrigation.
