Euonymus japonicus ‘Microphyllus Variegatus’ is a very attractive plant. The leaves are small very glossy leathery looking and dark green. Their most attractive feature however is that they are “splashed” with white. The effect is stunning in some gardens. It is sometimes planted as an edging boxwood-type substitute. It is heat drought and soil tolerant. Locating these plants in full sun is desired in order to resist any pest or disease problems. Avoid planting where air is stagnant and humid.
