Heuchera ‘Crimson Curls’ PP13729 (known as Crimson Curls Coral Bells) are a clump-forming perennial that forms a mound to around 12-18″ inches tall and wide. Two to four inch wide leaves emerge in spring in a dark burgundy red with purple underneath. They are also distinctively curly. These leaves fade to a duller gray-green in the summer. In late spring to early summer appear small white bell-shaped flowers on stems that rise above the foliage. It does well in some sunny areas but needs some shade particularly in the afternoon in warmer spots. Plant them in well-drained soil and give regular irrigation.
