Moderate-growing evergreen perennial to 8-10” tall x 12-14″ wide. This popular hybrid variety forms a uniform mound of glossy foliage that emerges an attractive silver-blushed burgundy, to eventually mature to a silver-blushed purple with deep purple venation. Adding further appeal to this eye-catching variety are the arching sprays of dainty, pink-tinged, creamy-white flowers that rise above the showy foliage in early-summer attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Great as a low-growing border, as a filler between shrubs, in mixed flower beds, or as an attractive container specimen. The deep foliage color of this attractive variety make it a popular choice for contrasting with lighter colored shrubs and perennials. Prefers regular watering a well-drained soil and a filtered sun to partial shade exposure. Requires protection from hot afternoon sun in warmer inland climates.
