Moderate-growing evergreen perennial to 8-15″ tall x 14-16″ wide. This popular hybrid variety forms a uniform mound of shiny plum-colored leaves accented with an attractive metallic-silver-sheen. Arching sprays of dainty creamy-white flowers rise above the showy foliage in early-summer attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Great as a low-growing border as a filler between shrubs or in mixed flower beds or containers. The deep foliage color of this attractive variety make it a popular choice for contrasting with lighter colored shrubs and perennials. Prefers regular watering a well-drained soil and a filtered sun to partial shade exposure. Requires protection from hot afternoon sun in warmer inland climates.
