Ilex Vomitoria ‘Stokes’ sometimes known as Stokes Dwarf Yaupon Holly is a dwarf evergreen shrub. It has tight branches that create a spreading mound. This native Holly is among the very reliable small shrubs that maintain a neat compact growing habit. They can be planted along foundations and fence lines or in front of bigger flowering shrubs. They make a great low-maintenance shrub for parkways along driveway edges or in planters. They may also be sheared into a rectangular hedge or spheres.
