Moderate to fast-growing deciduous shrub or small tree to 20 ft tall by 15-20 ft wide. Crape Myrtle has long been a popular landscape favorite and is revered for its vibrant floral display and attractive multi-toned peeling bark. This vigorous variety exhibits good mildew resistance and along with its glossy dark-green foliage is prized for its magnificent display of abundant soft-lavender-colored flowers that appear in summer. Adding further appeal is the attractive exfoliating brown tan and grey colored bark and a lovely fall foliage display in warm shades of orange and red. As a large shrub this variety is well-suited as a specimen accent or background and in tree form makes a great courtyard or street tree. Low water needs once established. Full sun.
