Fast-growing evergreen shrub with a trailing growth-habit to 1 ft tall by 3-50 ft wide. Lantana is a popular heat-tolerant low-maintenance perennial shrub revered for its free-blooming nature. This strongly-trailing variety forms a dense blanket of rich green foliage cloaked in profuse lavender-purple colored flower clusters that appear primarily spring to fall or nearly year-round in mild climates. A favorite for butterflies. Especially well-suited as a mass-planted groundcover and is a popular selection for trailing over walls or planters. Also makes a superb hanging basket. Considered drought tolerant once established but looks best with moderate watering. Prefers a well-drained soil and a full to partial sun exposure. derate watering.
