Plant Type

Shrub

Moderate-growing evergreen shrub to 5-6’ tall and wide. This durable heat-tolerant low-maintenance variety forms a dense uniform mound of medium-green foliage accented with rich lavender-blue flowers that attract butterflies and bees and appear on the branch tips summer into fall or nearly year-round in mild climates. Well suited as an accent background median planting hedge or screen. A light pruning in early-spring will help maintain a compact dense-growing specimen. Requires a well-drained soil and is considered drought tolerant once established. Prefers a full sun exposure.
