Shrubby evergreen perennial to 2-3 ft tall by 2-3 ft tall. Lavandula is revered for its delightfully fragrant and useful foliage as well as its abundant showy flower display. This attractive variety features aromatic gray-green foliage contrasted with abundant lavender-purple flower spikes that rise above the foliage summer to fall attracting butterflies and bees. Remove spent flowers to encourage re-blooming and maintain a clean-looking plant. Great in beds borders or as a small hedge and does well in containers. Makes a good cut flower and the fragrant foliage can be used for sachets and potpourris. Moderate to light water needs once established and prefers a well-drained soil in full sun exposure.
