Fast-growing evergreen shrub to 5-8’ tall and wide. Can be pruned into a small patio tree. This attractive but relatively short-lived species forms a rounded mound of maple-leaf-like grey-green foliage and is accented with abundant lavender-pink flowers with deep-lavender centers appearing early-spring to mid-fall or nearly year-round in mild climates. Attracts butterflies and is well-suited as an accent in mixed shrub borders or as an attractive backdrop to low-growing annuals or perennials. Also makes a good container specimen. Prefers a well-drained soil and has moderate to light water needs once established. Full sun to partial shade.
