Fast-growing evergreen shrub with a mounding growth habit to 4-7 ft tall by 3-5 ft wide. This long-blooming variety features arching branches of attractive grey-green heart-shaped leaves accented with a profusion of showy hollyhock-like flowers that emerge white to eventually mature to a lovely shell-pink with a deeper pink center. Blooms spring through summer attracting butterflies and can continue into fall in milder climates. With flowering occurring on new wood a more floriferous and compact plant can be achieved by pruning to half of its size in late-winter or early spring. Well-suited as an accent in mixed shrub borders or as an attractive backdrop to low-growing annuals or perennials. Also makes a good container specimen. Prefers a well-drained soil and has moderate to light water needs once established. Full to partial sun.
