Moderate-growing evergreen perennial to 1-2 ft tall by 1-2 ft wide. Lavandula is revered for its delightfully fragrant and useful foliage as well as its abundant showy flower display. This compact-growing variety forms a dense mound of aromatic grey-green foliage contrasted with abundant spikes of lavender-pink flowers topped with a distinctive crown of petal-like rose-pink bracts. Blooms mid-spring through mid-summer attracting butterflies and bees with sporadic flowering year-round in mild climates. Well-suited in rock gardens as an edging accent or filler and makes a good planter or container specimen. Good cut flower and the fragrant foliage of this variety can be used for sachets and potpourris. Prefers a well-drained soil in full sun exposure.
