Moderate-growing evergreen perennial to 18” tall forming clumps to 2-3’ wide. This durable landscape favorite forms a rounded-mound of olive-green foliage highlighted with a showy display of long-lasting bi-colored vivid purple and white flowers appearing on multi-branched stems that rise above the foliage spring through summer or nearly year-round in mild climates. Great for cut or dried flower arrangements. Well-suited for flower beds containers mixed shrub borders medians hillsides or planted in mass as a colorful large area groundcover. Tolerates seaside conditions and a variety of different soil types and requires little water once established. Thrives in a full to partial sun exposure.
