Magnolia ‘Claudia Wannamaker’ is a magnolia grandiflora cultivar that grows in a broad pyramidal canopy form. It is excellent for screening or grown as a shrub it is useful for attractive hedges. It blooms with white fragrant flowers early in the life of the tree and it has a long flowering season. As with many hybrid magnolias it has exceptionally dark green glossy leaves. If it ever needs to be moved ‘Claudia Wannamaker’ is considered easier to transplant than most.
