Moderate to slow-growing evergreen shrub to 2′ tall x 2-3′ wide. This attractive dwarf variety features soft lacy compound foliage that emerges lime-green maturing to a medium-green mottled with red in summer to eventually turn fiery-red in the cooler temperatures of fall. Foliage coloration is most pronounced in sunny exposures. Maintains a compact form even without pruning. This variety rarely if ever flowers. Well-suited as an accent background border or mass planting as well as making a fine container specimen. Prefers a moist well-drained soil. Regular watering. Sun to partial shade.
