Plant Type

Shrub

Fast-growing evergreen shrub with an upright, rounded growth-habit to 4-5’ tall and wide. This tough, long-blooming, sun-loving dwarf variety features glossy dark-green foliage accented with a profusion of single pure-white flowers appearing mid-spring into early-fall, attracting bees. Tolerates heat, reflected heat, drought, coastal conditions and a variety of soil types provided they’re well-drained. Well-suited as an accent, hedge, screen or container specimen and looks great as a mass planting. All parts of this plant contain a milky sap that is poisonous if ingested, so caution should be used when pruning or working with this species. Thrives in a full sun exposure and requires little water once established.

USDA Zone: 8-15
