Moderate-growing evergreen perennial clumping to 2’ tall and wide. This attractive dwarf variety features narrow, slightly-wavy, gracefully-arching green leaves with reddish-brown margins and is ideal for using in smaller landscapes where a full-sized Phormium might be overwhelming. Well-suited in beds, mixed shrub borders, pond or pool areas, as a mass-planting for larger areas, or for using as a color and texture contrast to brightly colored flowers or broadleaf shrubs. Also makes a fine container specimen. This popular landscape favorite prefers a full to partial sun exposure in a well-drained soil, and while capable of surviving with little water once established, a more robust specimen is achieved with light regular watering. Tolerates coastal conditions. Deer resistant.
