Moderate-growing evergreen shrub typically growing to 6-8’ tall and wide or larger with age. Can also be pruned into a small tree. This durable low-maintenance landscape favorite features attractive glossy gray-green leaves with irregular white margins accented in spring with clusters of creamy-white flowers that bare a remarkable resemblance to the sweet fragrance of orange blossoms. Small green seed capsules appear after flowering eventually maturing to brown often opening to reveal their orange-colored seeds. This adaptable variety tolerates heat sun or shade coastal conditions a variety of soil types and is cold hardy to 15-20° F. Well-suited as an accent foundation planting natural or sheared hedge or as a privacy screen. Prefers a well-drained soil. Moderate to low water needs once established. Full sun to partial shade.
