Slow-growing deciduous tree with an upright, rounded growth habit to 40-45’ tall x 25-35’ wide. Ginkgo is a pre-historic, long-lived species native to China and has long-been admired for its unique form and showy fall foliage display. This attractive male variety does not produce the messy fruit associated with other Ginkgo selections, and features distinctive, fan-shaped, emerald-green leaves that turn eye-catching shades of bright-yellow and gold in the cool of fall. This tough species tolerates urban conditions, has few know pests or diseases, tolerates a variety of soil types (provided they’re well-drained), and is well-suited as a park, lawn or street tree, ideally-suited for large open spaces. Prefers regular watering, and thrives in a full sun exposure. Deer resistant.
