Moderate-growing deciduous shrub to 4-5’ tall x 5-7’ wide. Blooming at an early age, this attractive dwarf variety forms a billowing mound of rich green foliage and is prized for its magnificent, abundant display of fragrant, butterfly-attracting, lilac-pink flowers that emerge from reddish-purple buds appearing in late-spring. An absolute favorite for cut flower arrangements, this variety blooms best in areas that receive some winter chill. Well-suited as an accent, hedge, or as a colorful foreground to taller-growing evergreens. Prefers regular watering in a rich, well-drained soil, and thrives in a partial to full sun exposure.
