Succulent perennial with blue-green leaves growing up to 6′ long they have hooked spines along the margins and a spike tip. The plant can grow up to 10′ wide and in 10 or so years will produce a 15′-40′ flower stalk of yellow-green flowers. It prefers full sun to partial shade with moderate to little water when established.
