Moderately fast-growing clumping evergreen succulent developing multiple rosettes to form a stand 1′ tall and 2-3′ wide. Stately-looking upward-turning dark-green leaves are edged in white with stringy white-colored filaments that curl away from the leaf structure adding additional interest to this attractive species. With age sometimes many years appears a 6-8′ flower stalk topped with round fleshy greenish-colored flowers. Great as a rock garden specimen or when planted in mass for a dramatic display. Also performs well in containers. Requires a well-drained soil and once established has very low water requirements. Full to partial sun.
