Jasminum nitidum is an attractive shrub like plant that grows by spreading vine-like or is used as a groundcover. It displays an abundance of large fragrant flowers that are white with purple undersides. It makes an excellent choice for cascading container garden displays and is evergreen. Jasminum nitidum is a plant that is part shrub and part vine. It is not a vigorous climber but it can drape itself up and around hanging plant supports and cascade with foliage and flowers over low walls or containers. Jasminum nitidum can serve as a groundcover in beds around living spaces where its fragrance is wonderful.
