Fast-growing evergreen shrub to 3-5′ tall x 4-7′ wide. This upright-growing California native features aromatic finely-cut silvery-grey foliage that thrives in both clay or sandy soils but is sensitive to overwatering. Sun heat and drought tolerant this species is well-suited as a hillside or native garden planting and once established requires little watering. Can defoliate in periods of extreme drought. Flowers are inconspicuous. Full sun to partial shade.
