Category:

Moderate-growing deciduous shrub with a rounded growth-habit to 2’ tall x 2-3’ wide. This compact dwarf variety features dense-growing foliage that emerges bright-red in spring maturing to an attractive bronzy-burgundy-red color which it maintains throughout the growing season. Foliage color is most pronounced in a full sun exposure. Inconspicuous creamy-white flowers appear in mid-spring to early-summer followed by small bright-red berries that persist into fall becoming more visible after dropping its leaves for winter dormancy. Best growth results will be achieved by feeding with an all-purpose fertilizer in early-spring and summer. Takes well to shearing and is well-suited as an accent or border and makes a great low-growing clipped hedge. Prefers regular watering in a well-drained soil. Full to partial sun.
