Moderate to fast-growing evergreen to semi-deciduous shrub or small tree to 6-10’ tall x 6-8’ wide. This tough species features open-growing branches of finely-divided bright green foliage accented with clusters of showy yellow flowers that exhibit vividly contrasting bright-red stamens. Flowers appear in summer attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Well-suited as an accent single specimen mass planting small patio tree or container subject. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers a fast-draining soil in a full sun exposure.
