Moderate to slow-growing, clumping, grass-like evergreen perennial to 1′ tall x 1-2′ wide. This attractive variegated variety forms a fountain-like clump of narrow, gracefully-arching, creamy-yellow leaves accented with dark-green margins. Great as a color and texture contrast to darker-colored shrubs and perennials. Small, insignificant, brownish-colored flowers appear above the foliage in late-winter. While this adaptable selection thrives in moist to wet soils, it has also shown a good tolerance to drier conditions. Well-suited to a variety of applications, useful in mixed beds and borders, medians, as a walkway edging, for pool and pond areas or as a mass planted groundcover. Also performs well in containers and looks great flowing over retaining walls or between large rocks. A favorite for Asian-themed gardens. Evergreen in mild climates, perennial in cooler climates where it can be cut back in early-spring to promote a flush of fresh new foliage. Few known pests or diseases. Thrives in a partial sun to partial shade exposure. Deer resistant.
