Cassia leptophylla (Gold Medallion Tree) is a Brazilian semi-evergreen tree that has pendulous branches and an open-crown. It grows to 25 feet with a compound leaf structure with small leaflets. Stalks of deep yellow flowers are borne in summer with scattered blooming later until fall. Full sun with low water requirements and it is hardy to about 25 degrees F.
