Ceanothus thyrsiflorus ‘Skylark’ is a compact dome-shaped shrub growing up to 4′ – 5′ high by 6′ – 7′ wide. It has abundant blue flower clusters in spring blooming longer than most ceanothus. sometimes called Blue Mountain Lilac it is the most shade tolerant of the Ceanothus. It is also tolerant of clay-like heavy soil.
