Black Magic Colocasia produce clumps of large long-stalked heart-shaped leaves. They reproduce via tubers or rhizomes. They are a deep purplish-black through their stems and leaves both. They provide an excellent dark contrasting color in the landscape. Colocasia are also known as taro a type of elephant ear. Plant this Colocasia in sun to part shade. Colocasia needs moist soil and it is important to not let them dry out.
