Coprosma kirkii is a low spreading shrub and when used as a groundcover it will grow 1 to 2 feet tall and 6 feet or more wide. Coprosma kirkii is easily shaped and can even be trimmed as a bonsai. Coprosma prefers regular water but will subsist on less. It’s best to plant in full sun to light shade. It likes more shade the further inland it is planted.
