Category:

Moderate-growing palm-like evergreen typically growing to 3-5’ tall x 3-4’ wide, or greater with age. This unique clumping variety features upright-growing, sword-like, maroon-colored leaves with vibrant bright-pink margins – truly a standout in the landscape. Tolerates coastal conditions, though protection from direct sea wind is recommended as well as some shaded protection from summer sun in hotter inland areas. Great for adding a tropical appearance to the landscape and is ideally suited for pool or patio areas, in the ground or in containers. While somewhat drought tolerant once established, a more robust-looking specimen will be achieved with moderate watering in a well-drained soil. Thrives in a partial to full sun exposure.

USDA Zone: 8-10
