Moderate-growing palm-like evergreen, typically growing 6-8’ tall x 4-5’ wide or greater with age, eventually developing a central trunk. This attractive Australian hybrid features narrow, gracefully arching, sword-like leaves in a striking meld of red and deep pink. Tolerates coastal conditions, though protection from direct sea wind is recommended as well as some shaded protection from summer sun in hotter inland areas. Great for adding a tropical appearance to the landscape and is ideally suited for pool or patio areas, in the ground or in containers. While this variety can survive with little water once established, a more robust-looking specimen will be achieved with moderate watering in a well-drained soil. Thrives in a partial to full sun exposure.
