Coreopsis rosea is native to eastern North America and in a number of Atlantic states. It grows in wet areas such as marsh edges or other wet areas where soil drainage is good. Unlike most Coreopsis species the Coreopsis rosea flowers are pink to white instead of yellow. The only other Coreopsis species with pink flowers is coreopsis nudata.
