Dianthus ‘Rosy Cheeks’ produce brilliant red flowers clustered atop short stems. They have a delightful fragrance. Dianthus ‘Rosy Cheeks’ are ideal for small planters such as window boxes as they only grow to a height of 15-18″ tall x 14-16″ wide. They grow best in full sun to part shade. Dianthus needs a sunny site with well-drained soil but will tolerate some shade in the afternoon. These fragrant flowers look wonderful as a border plant in rock gardens along walks or paths and for edging.
