Categories: ,

Evergreen succulent forming solitary or multiple rosettes to 1’ tall x 2’ wide. This spectacular variety features wide chalky-white leaves accented with clusters of yellow flowers that rise above the foliage on 2’ stems that blush with red as the flowers begin to open in late-spring to early-summer. A well-drained soil is essential to successfully growing this species and does best when protected from rain hail and prolonged cold temperatures. While capable of withstanding full sun in coastal climates it will perform best in partial sun to light shade in warmer areas. Low water needs once established but looks best when carefully given infrequent watering during the summer months. Be careful not to overwater and avoid overhead watering. Hardy to 15° F.
